Situated just northwest of Tampa and St. Petersburg, Clearwater is a city in Pinellas County, Florida. Beach Walk is a $30-million redevelopment initiative that has changed the face of South Clearwater Beach. The project built a broad walkway surrounded by resorts and beautiful white sand that gives the pedestrians a unique view of the Gulf of Mexico dotted with resting areas, palm trees, and lush landscaping.
The Capitol Theater, built-in 1921, is one of the oldest operating theaters in Florida, reminiscent of a classic Hollywood theater. It is famous for the best natural acoustics in the southeastern United States.
Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a unique attraction in the city where people can view, touch, and experiences the biology of loggerhead sea turtles, bottlenose dolphins, river otters, coral reefs, Kemp’s Ridley sea turtles, and more. This place is also home to Winter and Hope, the bottlenose dolphins featured in the 2014 film Dolphin Tale 2.
